Types of IVF Treatment in Kenya

Following are some IVF treatments in Kenya.

Natural IVF:

Natural IVF artificially obtains multiple eggs and creates multiple embryos, which increases your chances of getting pregnant. The reason it's called "natural" is because it doesn't use counterfeit drugs, rather it encourages your body to choose the best egg. Natural IVF is also preferred as it is considered less expensive and can be repeated in successive cycles.Myra IVF Center has been successfully providing infertility treatment solutions including In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), IUI, ICSI, Male Infertility and various other quality treatments in Kenya since 15 years. IVF Treatment in Kenya

It is an option for women who do not respond well to fertility drugs or women with poor ovarian reserve. It can also help young women with tubal insufficiency. In natural IVF, recipients cannot choose between more than one embryo.

IVF + Frozen Embryo Transfer:

A frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycle means the thawing of one or more embryos (frozen during the previous treatment cycle) and their transfer to the uterus. FET seems like a viable option for women who want to delay pregnancy until their 30s or 40s. However, the frequency of pregnancy depends on the age of the woman. Patients 35 years of age and younger have a 60% chance of becoming pregnant with embryo transfer, while women over 40 have a 20% chance of becoming pregnant with embryo transfer.

Frozen embryo transfer requires a two-week wait on the part of the recipients. This is because it can sometimes lead to false positives after the procedure.

IVF + Elective Single Embryo Transfer (ESET):

In this procedure, the embryo is selected by the woman from a number of available embryos so that it can be placed in the fallopian tubes to establish pregnancy. While this results in a higher pregnancy rate, the downside of IVF + ESET is that women may have to go through multiple rounds of embryo implantation to maintain the pregnancy rate. Some of the benefits of ESET are the reduced risk of pregnancy, such as premature birth, preeclampsia, and low birth weight. It also reduces the risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS). The lab also harvests any other healthy embryos for future use.

Donor Egg IVF:

Best IVF center in Kenya with a donor egg is the implantation of an embryo from a young, fertile donor into the recipient's fallopian tubes. Women under 35 have a 41-43% chance of having a baby if they choose IVF with donor eggs. This is a procedure that is a potential remedy for women who have had premature ovarian failure or who have a genetically transmitted disease that can be passed on to their genetic offspring. In donor egg IVF, the child will be genetically related to the father, but not to the mother. It can also help gay couples with gestational carriers to have children.

IVF Donor Sperm:

IVF with donor sperm occurs when donor sperm is given to couples when it is not possible to obtain sperm naturally or surgically. Sperm can be used to impregnate a woman with IUI or to fertilize her eggs through the IVF process. Donor sperm involves the placement of donor sperm into the recipient's uterus at the time of natural ovulation. Once the sperm is in place, the recipient can take a pregnancy test within two weeks. ,

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI):

It is a form of IVF in which a sperm is injected directly into the cytoplasm of a mature egg cell. Its main use is to solve cases of severe male infertility. This method also bypasses the acrosomal reaction and is the recommended treatment for men with low sperm count or malformed sperm.
